Terms of Use
Effective 2026-09-10
By using Snub you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
The app
Snub rates movies and series against their own sub-genre and lets you punch your own score. Ratings and rationales are opinions generated by our scoring engine and an AI model. They are for entertainment, not advice.
Season Pass subscription
- The Season Pass is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple, available monthly or annually. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel it any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
- Any free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Acceptable use
- Don't try to break, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
- Don't use Snub to harass anyone or to post anything unlawful.
- Don't resell or re-host content from Snub. Posters and metadata belong to their owners and are supplied by TMDB.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content
Your punches and profile are yours. You give us permission to store and display them inside the app so Snub can work. Shared stub images you export are yours to post wherever you like.
No warranty
Snub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running and accurate but we don't promise it will be available, error-free, or that any rating will match your taste. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the effective date and note it in the app. Continuing to use Snub after that means you accept the new terms.
